Chiroflow pillows have been put to the test more than once. The initial study, done by The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine was later published in the Archives of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. The Johns Hopkins study is a comparison between three different pillows. The study aimed to look at pain intensity, pain relief, quality of sleep, and overall satisfaction in subject with moderate cervical pain. The three pillows tested were: the subjects usual pillow, a roll pillow, and a water-based fibre pillow. The Chiroflow Waterbase Technology ranked significantly better for overall satisfaction than the other two pillows.
The study concluded that proper selection of a pillow can significantly reduce pain and improve quality of sleep. The Chiroflow Waterbase Technology was associated with reduced morning pain intensity, increased pain relief, and improved quality of sleep.
